Exfil Helmet Safety Gear Integration
Messing with loadouts for the winter, feeling like a nice hoody with some heat tech should do the job. Thank you Uniqlo!
Anyhow, the more interesting work got done with my Exfil helmet. Think I’ve finally worked out how to get all my safety gear tied into it.
Using the NVG bungees, I hooked in my mesh mask and then looped the cord around the side rails. I then used LaRue rail clips to help hold it in place. Each rail has 2 of the wire protector rail clips in the front and back, that help keep the cord from coming off.
The Boogie Regulator goggles are held in the back by the Velcro bungees that come with the helmet kit. Fits great, and still packs up easy for transport. Testing this weekend, but feels solid.
