Watched some AK user vids on youtube, decided to try out an Magpul AFG on my AK. Pretty comfortable, give it a run next game.

Had a fun time at Agito as always!























  

Really like my Exfil replica, but the straps have been screwed up since the day I got it. One strap was always cutting into my face thanks to it's placement way forward compared to the other one. This also led to the helmet having a tendency to torque when I was wearing it. Finally too the dive and decided to cut and restitch it before the Agito game this Sunday. Definitely wanted my helmet ready for that field. Pics of my crappy stitch job below.



These first two pics show how the chin strap is originally set, the strip connected to the upper part is too forward so I snipped there.




After cutting, I moved the strap back about 4cm and restitched it with a kit from the Daiso. So far seems good, and I hope the thread holds this Sunday, lol.

Not to be left behind in the fresh gear race, I add a dump pouch and drop leg rig to my Kryptrek Mandrake ensemble. Just in time for SEALS this weekend.




  

Couldn't get a replacement MEU mag for the one I lost at BCU, so I decided to try out a 40rd long mag.








Tested it out the other day at Raid, and it worked fine, but I'd like to see how it handles in cooler temperatures. Here's a quick video of a pistol game with me using it. Get killed early, but the real tragedy is suffered by our guest Hunter, who gets shot in the worse place someone can get shot in airsoft.

  

Sopmod ain't getting left behind in the chest rig race, grabbing himself a nice new AirLite.







  

Dice decided to up his game and get a real HSP D3 Chest rig. It is one sweet piece of kit!
